Dr. Sharon Golden

Opening Golden Veterinary Care marks the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for Sharon. She brings 30 years of practice experience to the clinic, as well as her compassionate approach to care. Sharon currently has two dogs, Mya and Coz, and has been showing and riding in Minnesota Hunter & Jumper competitions since she was knee-high to a border collie. Relaxation for Sharon includes spending time with her two daughters, running and doing yoga.

MEET

Dr. Lee Bull

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Lee has an undergraduate degree in biology from St. Olaf College, and completed her doctoral degree at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Much of what she loves about being a veterinarian is establishing special relationships with people and their pets. She brings a compassionate and thoughtful approach to caring for your pet as if they are a part of her own family. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys time with family including Mickey, a German Shorthaired Pointer. She also enjoys photography, and attending concerts and sporting events.

MEET

Ellie Driver

Registered Nurse, Veterinary Assistant

Ellie doesn’t just work with dogs. She also, well, works with dogs—as in training and competing with them in Obedience, Agility, Rally and Barn Hunt. Preparing for and competing in various events results in an especially strong partnership between animal and owner. Her companions have been both purebred Australian Shepherd dogs and rescues. Working with rescue dogs in particular has led to a keen interest in understanding animal behavior.

MEET

Karen Jensen

Certified Veterinary Technician

Karen discovered a passion for helping animals at a young age and is grateful to live that passion every day. For more than 30 years she’s demonstrated a dedication to client education, preventive care and care of senior pets to her work. She lives with her husband and sons and two very loved cats, Joe Meower and Snuggles. Karen is also passionate about rescue, most recently adding Ada, a shepherd husky mix and Luca, a white shepherd to the family. Outside of work, you can find her in the garden and working on home improvement projects.

MEET

Danielle Massie

Certified Veterinary Technician

Danielle has been a vet tech for more than 20 years at clinics in Plymouth and Lino Lakes. Having worked with Sharon previously, she jumped at the chance to help her open a new practice in her hometown of Wayzata. Danielle currently lives with her husband and five kids (two of which are canine), and sometimes an additional foster kitten or four, from Plymouth-based The Rescue Crew. In her hard-to-imagine-she-has-any spare time, Danielle loves being outdoors, camping, walking dogs, reading and getting together with girlfriends for wine, food and lots of laughter.

MEET

Kate Hill

Kate loves being a veterinary technician, she spent the last several years at a clinic in Plymouth.  Her bubbly personality is a perfect match for taking care of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and their wonderful owners. She has her own crew of 3 dogs and a cat at home. Kate grew up in the area surrounded by pets and horses.  When she’s not taking care of animals, she volunteers her time to help other humans in need.  And a big plus she is a  die hard Packer fan!

MEET

Laura Post

Receptionist

Laura became a Minnesotan in 2007 when she moved here from Chicago. She’s passionate about animals, Pit Bulls in particular. She adores her two dogs, Stella and Tikvah, who in turn are proud to have a mom that’s focused on helping end the unjust discrimination against their breed. Laura is excited to be a part of Dr. Golden’s veterinary adventure and looks forward to meeting you and your loved ones on your next visit.
